OOTD; Colour Burst!

What I wore…
Shell Top: Primark, £8
Midi Skirt: Missguided, £10
Bag: Dune, £55
Wedges: Primark, £14
Necklace: Joy, £8
My hair was styled by a lovely lady at Urban Spirit in Leigh whilst at a Paul Mitchell event. She curled my ridiculously thick hair in a record breaking five minutes so I was more than impressed! I love the loose waves and the Paul Mitchell Stay Strong hair spray held the curls all night without creating that horrible crispy texture you get from cheap hairspray. Check back tomorrow to hear more about the event.

Wearing my Marc Jacobs Baker watch as always. The bag is a new season purchase that I just couldn’t resist. The colour is prefect for summer and injecting some sunshine into your wardrobe.

Texture Clash: I’m mad about monochrome and love pairing clashing prints like my striped shell top with my houndstooth print midi skirt from Missguided. The material used for the skirt is really thick which helps create an hour glass figure and avoid the unwanted VPL (visible panty line… you all know what I mean)! The skirt is such a bargain at just £10 and really great quality.

Nails: the Speckled Egg collection from Models Own in Dove Pink, Duck Blue and Swan Lilac. I’m so in love with these and you can have three for the price of one bottle of the Illamasqua version!

Eyes: Naked 3 Palette by Urban Decay
Lips: Coral Runway by Clinique

Do you like to clash prints or are you more into the matchy matchy trend? Have you found any new seasons must haves? Let me know in the comments below!
