Following on from my last post, here is the second half of the MCRFW Graduate show. I just had far too many photos for one post and wanted to share all the designers works with you! So on we go:
Catherine Hudson’s line makes me think of beautiful indian saris with added clashing prints and sheer materials. This line was all about layering!
There were lots of pink, peachy and neutral shades in Helen Colville’s collection. The co-ord set immediately caught my attention and the leather detailing was really cool.
The Luna Rising line was without a doubt my favourite of the night. I fell in love with every piece! From floor length gowns to grunge and revealing, the styles went down a storm!
Nina Burton’s collection was also very well received. Clearly something made the line stand out… Floor length geometric prints and such attention to detail probably!
The inspiration behind the Leah Jones collection could quite easily have been party outfits for 5 year old girls. With giant sequins and pretty pink tulle and what looks like wrapping paper, this collection wasn’t as high up on my list of love affairs. Glittery shoes on the other hand… you can count me in!
Finally the absolutely most bonkers collection of the night! To be honest, the thing that most concerned me was worrying the models would trip since their eyes were covered. A very odd line of clothing. Perhaps if i need to dress up as a chicken or become blind anyway and move to the north pole…
I know some bloggers had quite a bit of trouble with MCRFW but I had a fun night topped of by dinner with the Shopcade gang! What are your favourite looks from the show? Did you attend any of the shows? Let me know in the comments below!
P.S don’t forget you can vote for The Fashion Fictionary in the Company Style Blogger Awards! I’ve been shortlisted for Best Personal Style Newcomer so head over to the voting page (HERE)! It only takes a minute and it means the world to me! Lots of love xx
A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
