Holiday Curve

As all my friends know, I’m such a sunshine person. I’m always 1,000,000 x happier when the sun is shinning and I can feel the warmth on my skin. All the more reason to celebrate the end of my second year of uni with a holiday! So I booked a holiday with the ladies in my family (momma, aunty and nan) and packed my suitcase. As per usual, we had a disaster. A few years ago we tried to go to Paris and my auntie lost her passport. The year after, we were heading to Barcelona and we ended up missing the flight. This year, the taxi driver took us to the wrong airport…
THANKFULLY it was early morning and no traffic meant we made it from Manchester Terminal 3 to Liverpool in time to check in our luggage and board. And after that? It was plane sailing (almost)!

Meticulous planning went into my travel outfit: I wanted something comfy yet casual. The details of my outfit can be found HERE plus the fedora is from Topshop £28 HERE and my hand luggage was my Michael Kors Selma bag in navy (birthday treat from my lovely other half).
Before I knew it, we were up in the sky and off on our holiday.

I didn’t take my camera as my plan was to relax… no facebook or twitter, no work emails, no blogging (scheduled posts, holla!), just relaxation. I did however snap a few shots on my phone and with my favourite Instax mini 8 polaroid camera…

I enjoyed lots of cheeky cocktails and some delicious ice cream. Who can say no to Fererro Roche and Kinder Egg flavour???

It took me a while to work up the confidence to post an actual bikini shot… I’m not exactly a skinny minnie or the biggest gym bunny! When I did post it on Instagram I got lots of love which made me think screw it. I love my Triangl set. Mine is actually the Lucie underwear set in spearmint as I received it before they brought out the swimwear version (the Milly set), but it works fine as a bikini! All the Triangl models are size XS and maybe it’s time to remind people that women come in different shapes and sizes. I’m also wearing my new favourite Topshop Necklace which stopped me in my tracks when I spotted it – a sign I HAD to buy it!
It isn’t available online for some reason but you can find similar styles Here, Here and Here.

All too soon it was time to head home, but I finished the holiday off in style with a cheeky glass or two or Prosecco!

I came home feeling refreshed but full of the holiday blues. I’m searching for my next holiday for the end of summer with the other half so any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Love Lucinda x

Looks like you had a fab holiday and you look amazing in your bikini! I have done a 101 things in 1001 days challenge and ‘post a picture of me in a bikini’ is on the list… I need to lose some serious weight first though!
