For once, here in the UK we seem to be having a real summer. Which is obviously amazing since I’m heading into my third year of university in september so I’m free to bask in the sunshine all I like! More sunshine does require more summery clothing (as if I need another excuse) and there are rather a few pieces I’m lusting after. And if my bank balance lasts longer than the weather? Not to worry as I’m jetting off to the Caribbean which will give me plenty of time to wear my new wardrobe!
Here’s my summer wardrobe wishlist:
1. Anguila Pineapple Print Kimono, £19.99
I’ve been on the lookout for this since I spotted it at the #MISSGUIDEDFEST preview. I can’t get enough of cute pineapple prints for summer and I love the pom pom detailing.
2. Lamis Paisley Kimono, £19.99
I’m a bit of a Kimono addict actually. This maxi flowing version gives of the perfect boho beach vibes. I’m betting it would make a fab poolside coverup too.
3. Filomena Floral Playsuit, £19.99
Isn’t this piece just beautiful? I love the tailoring and the fit and the bright pattern is just so pretty. Strappy heels and a sophisticated clutch would make this look bar ready.
4. Danella Patch Denim Shorts, £19.99
Denim shorts are at the top of my festival essentials list (well, tied will wellies!) and I love the little twist on this pair. The patches make the shorts look standout from other pairs… a statement twist is all it takes to go from festival drab to fab.
I actually styled these shorts with the Anguila kimono at #MISSGUIDEDFEST at the Company Magazine Blogger Awards (which you can read more about HERE). I guess Company liked my style!
5. Alice Racer Back Maxi Dress, £15
I spotted my fave gal Em from Emtalks wearing this gorgeous maxi on holiday. The colour looks amazing with a tan and the simple design is flattering. All for just £15? I’m sold.
6. Sophie Plunge Neck Split Maxi Dress, £15
This dress is some serious screen siren style. Paired with an intense red lipstick (MAC russian red is my go to!) and a sleek side sweep for your hair sounds dreamy.
7. Shanna Aztec Print Shift Dress, £15
A shift dress is the easiest way to wear a bold print. The loose cut is a curve skimmer so the bright pattern doesn’t draw attention to any body problem areas. The cutouts also make this a step in a stylish direction, with a cool twist on your standard shift.
8. Gracie Floral Embellished Sunglasses, £12
Pastels and florals are a dream team. Add them to your summer specs and your sorted for the season. I love the quirky shapes and sizes of the flowers used to makes these glasses. I’ve been lusting after some 3D specs since last summer, I’ve even had a go at making my own…

In the last few years Missguided and Boohoo have really upped their games. I’m in love with so many items, I just wish I had enough room in my wardrobe for all of them!
A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
