First off, a Happy Easter everyone! Since I’m rather a busy bee, I don’t get much chance to travel home to see my family but when I make sure I never miss big family dinners. My dad (the best chef ever??) cooks far too much delicious food and we all get together round a big table and celebrate. None of us are strictly religious but I’m so grateful for the chance to catch up, share some stories and laughter and drink enough wine to make ourselves sounds good at karaoke! I also thought Easter would be the perfect time to introduce you to my favourite furry friend…
This is Targaryen, my exceedingly fluffy (even just after his haircut!) and happy little lion head bunny. I figured if anyone could judge an Easter egg, who better than the Easter bunny himself? Want to know the verdict? Keep on reading…
Charbonnel et Walker has got to be the dreamiest chocolate shop in existence. I only discovered it recently, have a nosey here to see when I fell in love. The sea salted caramel truffles leave me beyond speechless and the marc de champagne truffles are also a winner. So when I spotted an easter egg created with my absolutely favourites, I had to get my mitts on one! Creamy, smooth, chocolatey perfection all wrapped up and boxed ready to share (or eat up for yourself).
Beautifully wrapped? Check. Filled with deliciousnessisms? Check. Easter bunny approved? Also check! I let Tyger investigate.
Obviously Targaryen wasn’t allowed to eat the chocolate (that’s all mine) but we made up for it by crunching on some yummy asparagus, though it’s not quite the salted caramel level of perfection.
C&W do a wonderful range of Easter Eggs with all their best-selling truffles but even when Easter is over and the eggs have been polished off, the truffles are out of this world. Fancy checking them out? You can grab them HERE.

A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
