If you’re a regular round here, you might have seen my Birthday wishlist which included the dress I was planning to wear for my birthday… until it went out of stock in my size! And since I had left it so late (my reliance on ASOS next day delivery is getting ridiculous) it meant popping into town on my birthday, with very little time before my girls arrived for my little get together. So what do you do when you’re short on time? Head straight to Topshop…
PLAYSUIT | CROP TOP | BOOTS | SUNGLASSES | BRACELET
Sometimes a print just catches your eye and you fall in love. That’s what happened when I spotted this DREAM of a playsuit from Oh My Love at Topshop. I love the concession stands in Topshop, it’s a fab way to find smaller brands and usually means you aren’t going to turn up in the same outfit as someone else. There was another style of playsuit with this print but the kimono style & bells sleeves just sold this version to me.
It’s a little revealing for day wear so I popped my favourite lace crop top from ZARA underneath. And the subtle 70s style cried out to be teamed with my favourite ever boots (I just can’t take them off lately)! If you’ve got good eyes, you might be able to spot my gorgeous tassel bracelet from LVNDR, the best affordable jewellery brand around. It’s out of stock at the minute but it’ll be back next week so keep a look out!
Can we just talk about those sunglasses for a sec? Clearly the most fabulous things in existence! They were a birthday gift for my wonderful other half and I haven’t taken them off since I got them. Gold detailing + cat eye = summer perfection.
What do you think of this weeks fashion friday? How would you wear the playsuit? Are you a Topshop fan? Let me know in the comments!
A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
