Time seems to be flying by at the minute and somehow it’s Fashion Friday once more. Summer is on our doorstep, and since for me that means graduation and going off into the world of full time work (eeek), I figured I would put together a workwear look with some vintage flair….
SHIRT | SKIRT | BOOTS | NECKLACE | WATCH
The skirt is reclaimed vintage from ASOS and what’s not to love about upcycling? The button details add a little contrast and the a-line shape = so 70’s throwback. My shirt had become a little untucked by this point but I love the blue on blue shades. Mix in some tans and dark browns to the palette and it gives the whole look an authentic vintage feel.
My bag and scarf are both vintage! One is a charity shop find (don’t you just LOVE finding genuine leather bags for practically pennies?) and the other was a gift from my darling Nanna (she’s had it for years and let me show it some love).
My boots are from Truffle a few seasons ago but I’ve linked the new season equivalents. You can also grab a similar pair in the sale from New Look, but you’ll have to be quick!
Mixing vintage with high street finds stops you looking like you actually stepped out of the 70’s and instead lets you top up your style with the best of the throwback trends.
What do you think of the look? What are your favourite 70s trends? Are you a fan of vintage?
