Fashion Friday is back and I’m stylin’ up a storm in this UH-mazing piece from Megan Ellaby’s ASOS collab… didn’t I tell you it was incred!? If you saw last weeks look, you’ll probably be able to tell that I just can’t stop wearing this collection. And if you missed last weeks look you can catch it here! Pretty much every piece from the Megan X ASOS Tops line is perfect for layering up cosy yet in vogue looks for Autumn. It’s essentially a ready made capsule wardrobe for your top half, though don’t forget trousers or we’ll both be in trouble…

Autumn is the season for layering. By winter I’ll be lost under over-sized every-things, I live in Leeds after all. So I shall cling onto Autumn like my wardrobe depends on it! Block coloured polo necks (or turtle necks if you prefer) are a total fail safe. You can pair them with just about anything, layer them up to your hearts content, basically just wear however you fancy. They’re warm, cosy and yet still look effortlessly chic so what’s not to love?
The waistcoat is essentially everything your A/W wardrobe is calling out for (except, you know, stuff to actually keep you warm). It’s leather and mock croc heaven, not to mention the detailing on the zips, this is easily the stand out piece from the collection. It’s just so different to the rest of high street fashion right now. It truly embraces that throwback feeling without trying too hard to fit in.
And what does one pair with mock croc? More mock croc! The bag is an oldie but a goodie that I picked up seasons ago from forever 21 and, unlike most inexpensive bags, it’s just got better with age. The gold hardware might have a little bit of something to do with that too.
What do you think of my layered Autumn look? Fancy the Megan X ASOS Tops collection? Let me know in the comments!
A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
