OOTD: Le Chic with La Redoute

After the fabulous La Redoute Xmas Blogger Party (read more about it here), I came home with a couple of pieces I had fallen head over heels for. So I met up with the lovely Gabby (from What She Buys) to shoot the look…

The mesh and wool combination of the sweater is sheer perfection (see what I did there?). It’s surprisingly cosy and a new favourite in my wardrobe. The v-neck pattern on a round neck? Genuinely flattering.
The colour gives the skirt more of a grown up vibe than a ‘five year old at a party’ feel but that doesn’t mean you have to act grown up. That skirt was just made for twirling. Of course the over the knee boots also made an appearance – they’re a total A/W staple that I’ve hardly taken off since 2014.
The Chloe Faye has got to be the IT bag of the year, and comes with a price tag to match it. Fortunately, for those of us who’s bank balances can’t quite stretch to every designer in thing, Yes Style have an incredible dupe that’s available in grey and brown. Plus they’re so affordable, you can treat yourself to both, guilt free!
What do you think of the look? Would you buy a dupe handbag or splash out on the real thing?
