OOTD: Cape Dress

I’ve honestly outdone myself lately. There is literally nothing on my ASOS wishlist that I don’t already own… we’re there, I’ve reached that point in my shopping addiction! And yet, with an invite in my inbox instructing me to dress to impress, I found myself living out every gals dreaded predicament of having nothing to wear! *Insert me flapping about for about half an hour* before thanking the babes at Motel for this gorgeous lil piece…

Very much in the theme of my last Fashion Friday post (check it out here), a cape dress saved the day! I’ve fallen in love with them and would like one in every print/colour available pretty please ’cause a) they’re so blooming flattering and b) I feel like a princess x superhero spinning about in them! The graphic print of this babe from Motel Rocks is just too FAB, and the keyhole neck detail is perfect for showing off your accessories.
The boots have proved to be the best investment ever since I bought them Autumn 2014 (yasssss I still wear them like 1000000 x per week). I lurrrve them with mini skirts/dresses for the ultimate 60’s gal vibe. The coat is past season from Joy and I’ve never yet found one I like quite as much – the faux fur collar and cuffs just speak to me (and they say come be snugg and cosy and I’m like uhhh, OK)!
My makeup look features lots of lovely pieces from the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita collection which I’ve been raving about lately (take a closer look).
What d’ya think of the look? Loving cape dresses as much as I am? Tell me about it ↓
Love Lucinda xx
