I 100% adore tailored outfits, cropped trousers and jumpsuits. I see plenty of girls looking FAB in them, especially well fitted pieces on curvy gals. Unfortunately my budget doesn’t stretch to everyday designer pieces and what I’m left with is generally high street clothes made for straight up and down bodies. There’s been a huge growth in curve ranges over the past few years but I’m still waiting for companies to realise you can have curves at any size! Luckily I found this gorgeous piece just waiting for me…
Cropped, but not too cropped, the low V and cut out sides, the ‘I refuse to let go of my Winter colour palette’… this jumpsuit ticks all the boxes! The belt detail sits at the abso perfect height to pull in your waist and looks pretty cool too. The jumpsuit has proved rather popular so I’ve popped some other options:
Pairing it with my new Stan Smiths (bright white, but not for long) gives it a laid back look, but for a fierce night time look I’d swap them for a pair of heels and a slick of MAC Rebel lipstick.
A white polo neck looks good with anything – I mean, who doesn’t love a good wardrobe staple? I switching between teaming it with jumpsuits, dungaree dresses and good old fashioned black skinny jeans!
If you’re curvy but don’t hit the plus size category, I’d recommend Simply Be – they stock Curve ranges from Lavish Alice, AX Paris and more, starting at a size 12.
A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
