When it comes to Mexican food, I’m a self confessed addict. Nachos are my holy grail and I feel like every food ever could benefit from added Guacamole! It took longer than I would like to admit for me to visit Cielo Blanco but once I’d tried it, I’d pretty much decided to set up camp and live on their street food selection and home made Margarita jugs…
The decor is original, quirky and meshes together unique styles for a completely insta-worthy interior. The sharing platters are good but it’s the street food that I keep coming back for. Order one of everything – trust me, you don’t want to miss out.
The street food is split into different sections, and you can choose as much or a little from each section. Six plates cost £25 and it’s perfect for two people. The tacos are my go to, especially the beer battered fish version. The beetroot, sweet potato and feta salad was a surprising favourite – fresh veg, crumbly cheese and a real bite to it. Cheers to that!
There’s so much to try that I just HAD to go back to get some more snaps (you’re welcome…) and the food was just as incredible as the last time. The Salmon and Scallop Ceviche was a complete dream, with seriously high quality produce and served with a fruity mango salsa.
Heads up, the stuffed jalapeños are more than a li’l spicy! If you’re on the look out for somewhere new, I couldn’t recommend Cielo Blanco more. On a budget? Every Monday Cielo share a secret code on social that gets you 25% off – you can find them on Twitter here and Facebook here!
Are you as obsessed with Mexican food as I am? I’d love some recommendations of where to try next!
Love Lucinda xx

A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
