Travel to the City Style

When it comes to travel, comfort should be our number one priority. No one wants to spend a 7 hour flight in heels, and trying to maneuver a jumpsuit in an airplane bathroom is just not happening. But Instagram! and Snapchat! and *insert whichever cool app the kids are using these days*. Thanks to social media, we’re always on, which means there’s no getting away with flying in your onesie. So I’m sharing my go-to travel look for style AND comfort…

Bold stripes paired with a simple cami keep things casual enough for 10am airport arrivals but trendy enough for 11am cocktails at the bar (me, an alcoholic? pfft). The trousers have a stretch waist (an abso must-have) which means no matter how much you wriggle around in your seat, they won’t pull or become uncomfortable. There’s a colourful version in the sale from Boohoo too!

Monochrome, with a splash of colour, looks effortlessly chic. I love my box bag from Dune as it’s so bright, and as always with the brand, really hardwearing and great quality. It’s the perfect Summer shade and the fringed charm simply ties the look together. It’s from a previous season but I’ve linked a similar version above. If you’re looking for something more affordable, I love this bright orange duffle bag by Dune.

And I know I said no to heels, but ankle boots don’t count right? Plus you can wear your flight socks underneath and whip the boots off once you’re in your seat, ready for a glass of fizz once you’re up in the air.

Say hello to chic travel style. What do you think of the look?

Love Lucinda xx

Behind the screen

A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
