If you ask any Northern blogger gal who throws the best parties, they’ll tell you straight up it’s La Redoute. After the fabulous La Redoute Christmas event, I couldn’t wait for the next invite to land in my inbox. Cue the excitement & me counting down to the LR Summer Party, hosted at a mystery venue. Ooh la la indeed…
The mystery venue turned out to be New Craven Hall which is total #goals thanks to the exposed brickwork and copper interiors. With my fave ever watermelon clutch in one hand and an Aperol Spritz in the other (tres chic), I headed off to explore the new collections for La Redoute. It took me about three seconds to fall in love and decide on so many new piece that I abso need to ad to my collection, though I may have to clear some wardrobe space first. Oh and you need to check out the interiors on offer because gal they are incred.
Back at the bar after lusting over just about every piece of clothing and homewear in the place, I joined my fave blogger huns at the bar. The signature summer cocktails were all rather tempted but I plumped for the Rum Punch which tasted like sunshine in a glass *dancing gal emoji most definitely required*.
The lovely Laura (from La Redoute and A Forte for Fashion) invited us to get dressed up in the new collection and style in out in front of the camera. I went bold with this bright orange, 3/4 sleeve shift dress and paired it with this button down midi dress worn as a duster coat. My gal Dei (from Sunny Dei) and I jumped in front of the camera for a (rather giggly) photoshoot.
The night was full of great suprises, including the ice cream van that showed up and had me snapping away (who doesn’t love a good ’99?). Things got even better when Laura announced I won the prize for ‘Style Guru’ – a £250 La Redoute voucher that I am v.much looking forward to getting spendy with.
Thanks to La Redoute for a seriously fab evening, can’t wait for the next one!
A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
