Please tell me I’m not the only one hoping the sunshine sticks around? Nothing against Autumn, except for the fact that the crunchy leaves last about 3 minutes in the UK before the torrential rain turns them into a slip and slide for the fools still wearing heels aka me. But regardless, it’s time to start transitioning that wardrobe (hopefully with these fab key pieces) and getting ready for cosy knits and layers (aaaaalllll the layers)…
EMBROIDERED SHIRT DRESS* | BLACK SLIP DRESS | SPARKLE CROSS MIDI RING* | CHLOE FAYE DUPE | CUT OUT BOOTS | FLUFFY BAG CHARM (cat version)
I do love a good versatile piece and my new shirt dress from Matalan definitely ticks that box. Autumn is here (apparently) so layering is a must and I couldn’t wait to start styling up this piece for lots of different looks. It makes a great short sleeve duster jacket unbuttoned, or size down and button it up for a tailored look. I went pretty casual and threw it on over a mini slip dress – effortless style for day-to-night.
My statement midi ring is c/o Jon Richards and it’s had everyone swooning. I stacked up some simpler rose gold styles (from Primark, in a multipack, costing like £2.50, yaaasss) and let the sparkle do it’s thing.
The bag is a fave I always rave about because who has the dollar to purchase a Chloe Faye right now? It’s the next best thing and I take mine everywhere. Plus the grey adds a li’l contrast to a pretty much all black look. I’m wearing cut out boots while the sun is still shining but I’ll swap ’em for cute ankle boots when the inevitable terrible weather turns up.
