For me, Christmas is about stylish decor, seeing the family and a whole lot of vino. Betty’s completely captures that vibe for me, so spending the afternoon drinking champagne and sampling treats in the Imperial Suite at Betty’s Harrogate, surrounded by Christmas decor was high on my to-do list. I was joined by some of my fave blogger babes for a truly magical Christmas…
After a champagne reception and a sneak peek at the Christmas decor, we sat down for Lady Betty’s Afternoon Tea. I’ve written all about the delightful tiny sandwiches and cakes from the Afternoon Tea before, but I will say the lavender scones are just heavenly, and the grand cruz raspberry and chocolate square is beyond the valley of deliciousness.
Next up, checking out all the new and returning Christmas goodies, plus a little tasting too because how could anyone resist? I immediately fell in love with the Belmont chocolate box – it’s jumped straight to the top of my wish list (please Santa) and is just so adorable. Then the Director of Beautiful (anyone else want his job?) took us on a table dressing tour. The three different styles were stunning and seriously dialled up my excitement to decorate. On that note, how soon is too soon to put the tree up?
Before heading home, we gathered around the Christmas tree to get cosy by the fire and swap gifts. It was the perfect end to the afternoon and we left full of treats, with more sugary surprises in tow. Thanks to the Betty’s team and especially Dan for having us. I just can’t wait to come back for another slice of the festivities. Check out all the gorgeous Betty’s Christmas treats here.
A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
