Winter and cashmere go together like two frosty peas in a pod, and I’ll take any excuse to get cosy and snug. With Pinterest full of gorgeous gals in similar oversized sweaters rocking the bare legs look, I was inspired to try out something similar. Lots of those girls on Pinterest have the same body shape though, and that body shape doesn’t tend to be curvy. So I decided to try the look out to see what it looks like on a gal with curves for Blogmas day 5…

Investment pieces like a cashmere jumper can last forever if you look after them properly (a.k.a ask your mum to wash them, no matter how old you get). This jumper has been part of my Winter wardrobe for the last two years and I can’t see it going anywhere soon. I’m a firm believer of wearing whatever the hell you like and it’s so snug – I’ll definitely rewear this look into Spring.
I know December is one of those months where your feeling forever poor ’cause you have to buy things for other people (which is nice and all) but there are things in life that you just need and a sparkly, iridescent mermaid bag is one of those things. Skinny Dip are my go-to for novelty bags and I’ve got far too many on my wishlist!
My other accessories are made up off my patch chelsea boots from Daisy Street which I’ve already styled and professed my undying love for, and my beaut rose gold bangle from Coconut Lane. It’s such a cool piece and a fraction of the original Cartier price tag. Plus, you can get 20% off with my code Fictionary20 so all the more reason to treat yo’ self.
Oh and do yourself and favour and pick up some sheer tights. Don’t make my mistake and go bare legged or you’ll be defrosting for a week.
A faux-ginger, gin drinking, digital marketing gal with a thing for food styling. That was basically my old Tinder bio... Living in Leeds, I'm forever heading out for dinner, buying too many clothes, spending 50% of my money on ubers and, as of now, putting my stamp on my new apartment!
