I’m pretty sure everyone has had one of those days where you pull out every item of clothing you own and decide you have nothing to wear, right? But not having enough clothes doesn’t seem to be the problem when there are towers of dresses and jumpsuits piling up around it. It’s easy to get into a style rut or not feel inspired enough to pull a few pieces together, which is why I have a bank of items that I can always turn to…
KHAKI JUMPSUIT* | LACE-UP SUEDE HEELS* | DENIM SHEARLING JACKET
While I’m always working on growing my self-love and genuine body confidence, there will always be down days where I wish I could change things about myself. I struggle with Endometriosis (a V common problem that doesn’t get talk about enough) which often makes my tummy swollen. As much as I would like to think I embrace it, there are times when I just don’t feel my fabulous self.
This jumpsuit is my antidote. It’s fitted in the right places, with a little more room in others. The waist belt cinches in above my tummy giving me shape without making me feel uncomfortable. The neutral tone means you can pair it with pretty much anything and it still looks blooming gorgeous.
Heels always make me feel a little more dressed up, and these suede, lace-up huns from La Redoute are seriously chic and comfy too thanks to the block heel. They’re out of stock right now (so popular) but I’ve linked a similar pair from Pulic Desire. My denim shearling jacket is an oldie but a goodie, it’s like being wrapped in a blanket which is something I can always get on board with.
What do you think of today’s look? Don’t forget to check out Blogmas day 11 here.
